Holiday Celebrations in the City

December 29, 2015

I recently did a fun holiday shoot with a bunch of bloggers and creatives in San Francisco. I know I have been talking about this shoot for the past month and sharing glimpses on my , so here it finally is! We set up a fabulous table with rustic decorations and food from Whole Foods, dressed up in dresses from Urban Outfitters, and drank fancy cocktails curated by Craft and Cocktails. It was a magical start to the holiday season and so fun to work with all of these creative people and #girlbosses.

Two features were published on The Everygirl, How to Style a Rustic Table for the Holidays and How to Throw a Cozy Holiday Party at Home. I highly recommend reading these for some fun tips.

Merry Christmas to All

December 25, 2015

Merry Christmas to all of you! If you don’t celebrate Christmas, I hope you are having a wonderful day off and are with the ones you love. This is going to be a short post since I am off to watch Christmas movies and spend some quality time with my family soon, but this Christmas I wanted to dress up a bit since it was our first Christmas in the cabin in Evergreen. I love this festive red sheath dress, which looks even more festive when paired with this sparkly Perry Street necklace I got from Rocksbox. Top the whole look off with wine and you’ve got a real festive holiday look.

One more time, Merry Christmas! I’m a little too excited to eat Prime Rib and Yorkshire Pudding tonight…

Love,
Lauren

Holiday Party Guide

December 7, 2015

Hi All! With my new partnership with RewardStyle, I am able to put together shoppable collages of my favorite products. I have included a new “Shop” section in my upper navigation bar, and here I have put together gift guides for the holiday season for him/her, as well as one for the items I actually own in the “My Closet” section, and finally the “Holiday Party” section I am about to share. Take a peek in the “Shop” section above!

For this post, I wanted to focus on my two cents about the holiday party season. With many holiday parties being fully underway, especially starting this week, it can get stressful- I am often the one doing the last minute shopping… So I put together some of my favorite picks of the season. This season, the focus seems to be on jewel tones and white. I went to the Google holiday party last Friday in the city and there were a lot of jumpsuits, a trend I am ALL about- I even bought one for my holiday party this week. I added a few of these in my collections as well. Take a look above to get some good ideas from a few of my favorite brands: Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters, H&M, and more.

Can’t wait to post about my holiday dress shoot today! Stay tuned, and follow along on my Snapchat–>Bohemianbybay!

Much love,
Lauren

Holidays in the City

November 24, 2014

Happy Holidays everyone! The holiday season is in full swing here in San Francisco. I spent my weekend shopping in Union Square. The palm trees were decorated with lights and the huge holiday tree outside of Macy’s is adorned with gold and red ornaments. I loved walking around the square and seeing all the people in a cheery holiday state. While shopping, I didn’t find presents for anyone, but I picked myself up some baking essentials from Crate & Barrel and some table decorations from Anthropologie (they have the most gorgeous house decorations). For this outing, I paired an old dress of mine with a cropped sweater and some knee high socks. It’s still warm enough to wear that here!

What I’m Wearing:
Polka-dot dress: Cotton On
Grey Crop Sweater: Nordstrom
Knee-high socks: H&M
Boots: Madewell

Stay tuned for some Thanksgiving festivities

Love,
BB
