Can you believe it’s been almost a month since I last posted on my blog?! It’s been a busy June. In the beginning of the month, I travelled to my hometown of Colorado for our annual Father’s Day trip. We stayed in remote cabins outside of Steamboat, a really popular mountain destination about 4 hours outside of Denver. It was a much needed refresh from the hustle and bustle of LA. I immersed myself in nature, complete with wildflowers, rolling green hills, and all the pine trees and aspens a girl could ask for. While I was there, I wore lose, white dresses, straw hats, and lace-up espadrilles, some of my favorite summer trends. You can see a recap of some of my activities and what I wore on my Instagram. I carried some of these styles over to my LA wardrobe, thanks to Old Navy. They have a great selection of summer styles such as maxi dresses, flow-y bohemian tops, wedges, and really any summer trend you want to get on board with.
My favorite summer dress from Old Navy is this white Embroidered Tie Front Swing Dress. I couldn’t pass up the bohemian details of this dress- the embroidery, tassels, and flare sleeves just speak to me. Swing dresses are also very comfortable and forgiving for any figure. I just feel like a goddess when I wear this dress!
I paired the dress with these Cross-Strap Espadrilles, which are VERY comfortable. I enjoy wedges because they are not only stylish but also you can walk miles in them! The cross-strap detail is also to die for. To top the look off, I added a simple brown fringe clutch from Charming Charlie. I wore this out for a day shopping and drinking coffee with my friend Katie of East West Edge on Abbot Kinney in Venice.
In other news, I’m headed to SF this weekend to see some of my long lost BBF’s up there. I’ll most likely be posting on my Instagram about all the activities we do, so follow along there as always.
