A couple weekends ago, I had the pleasure of staying at The Belamar Hotel in Manhattan Beach for a staycation! Although this hotel is not located on the beach, it is located on the PCH, so it is a quick drive to Venice, Hermosa, and other major highways!
When we arrived, we were greeted with friendly valet staff and concierge. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean and modern, surrounded with palm trees. As you walk into the art-deco themed lobby, there is a lovely stone fireplace and resting lounge with retro chairs where you can kick up your feet and relax. When you check in, the concierge even gives you the option to pick out a record or two to play in the room! I was in heaven since y’all know I love to listen to vinyl. I picked out The Beach Boys and The Doors.

We headed up the stairs and to the elevator to our room. The hallways of the hotel have interesting art- most of them are lined with old 60’s doll faces. As we got to the room, I quickly realized that it would be my favorite part of our experience. The room itself is very well designed, with mid-century modern pieces scattered throughout. Printed on the gold framed mirror is, “Manhattan Beach is always a good idea.” SO CUTE. The art above the bed looks like something from the inside of an Urban Outfitters catalog. Not to mention that each room has it’s own balcony! It’s the simple touches that make this hotel worth remembering and staying at.

We spent the rest of the night listening to vinyl, doing face masks, and eating room service dinner (which was actually phenomenal). Joe mentioned he would go back there just for the grass-fed, sautéed onion, brioche bun burger he got for dinner. YUM!
Thank you, The Belamar Hotel, for making our stay so enjoyable. We will be back for more!
Love,
Lauren
