This past weekend I dancing around the streets of Hollywood in the flower crown I made at ColorWyld. Sounds whimsical, doesn’t it? Well it was. I have never explored around the Hollywood area all that much, but there is so much to offer! Boutiques, cafes, night clubs, and businesses galore line the Sunset strip, but when you head off into the hills, that’s when the magic happens.
I handmade the flower crown you see here- that’s right, string together the branches, tucked the leaves, and wired the flowers. What a great skill to learn to bring out the inner hippie in all of us. The blooms were locally sourced, fresh off the farm for us to play with.
For this shoot, I decided to go along with the hippie vibe and wear a lace-inlet mini-dress to match the light blooms on my flower crown. I paired it with my favorite gladiator sandals, to dress it down a bit and continue with the bohemian look. To preemptively answer a question I’m sure you all have- Yes, I did wear this around Hollywood Blvd. after this shoot. And yes, people stared. I loved every minute of it.
What I’m Wearing:
Dress: Mystic (vintage)
Sandals: Thrifted
Jewelry: Rocksbox

Hope you love the new layout as much as I do
