As an entrepreneur, we have SO MANY things to get done, that we can feel overwhelmed, stressed, tired and or just feel like we are going insane trying to keep up with it all. That’s why it is SO important to plan ahead, whether that be in business or in health.
I’ve come up with a couple ways in each to make sure you stay, sane, healthy, and productive in your entrepreneurial pursuits!
1. Plan for content batch days – Take the time to plan out your content for all the platforms you want to show up on IN ADVANCE! To save creative energy, you shouldn’t have to think up something amazing to say and post every day in the moment, that can be EXHAUSTING! Save up the energy for 1 day per week to plan out the entire next week with posting.
2. Use your resources – When you need help, ask for it! Don’t be afraid to invest in yourself, invest in a mentor, and get the resources to get to where you need to be in half the time.
1. Take some time for yourself – Research shows that the more time you can invest in yourself, the more productive you will become. I know this from personal experience… The greater time I have to invest in myself, the more relaxed, focused, and unstoppable I become.
2. Meal prep ahead of time – When I worked a full time job, I would ALWAYS go out to eat at lunch, that was my favorite time of day! But when I started working for myself, I often don’t have time to cook, or go out to eat. Meal prepping for the week is a MUST, even if you are at home! My time is better spent cooking all the meals in one day (as I do with the content), than cooking every day for myself.
One of the best ways that you can meal prep is with Rubbermaid® TakeAlongs® Meal Prep Containers, which are BPA FREE, microwave, dishwasher, and freezer safe containers that feature a built-in divider to keep food separated, allowing complete meals to be stored in individual containers. These TakeAlongs® offer a Quik Clik Seal™ lid, which clicks into place letting you know when contents are secured. Better yet, the bases and lids stack neatly for easy organization when in use and nest together when out-of-use. You can get these with Walmart Rollback price ending 2/10!
I usually make healthy salads with kale, walnuts, and avocado to incorporate good fats into the meal. For dinners, I usually make broccolini with salmon and organic Jasmine rice! I then store the containers in the fridge and pull them out throughout the day. YUM!
If you have any ways you prepare and plan ahead in your health and business, I’d love to know! I hope you enjoyed these tips for staying healthy throughout in your life and biz 😉
