Day two post Coachella and I’m already sitting here reminiscing… It was a wild year this year. I actually didn’t go to the festival, I only went to the parties! Last year I went to the festival and parties and got extremely sick afterwards, so I decided to only do the parties this year to save me from wearing myself too thin. To tell you the truth, I really missed the festival, so I will likely be going in next year 🙂 I wanted to share with you some post-Coachella inspiration and a recap of my full trip! Here is a day by day breakdown of what went down!

Coachella 2018 Recap
Day 1 (Thursday): I headed to Palm Springs this day and waited in about 4 hours of festival traffic (boo!) to get there. It was a bummer but was nothing compared to last year’s traffic! When I got there, I met up with my babe, London Ellis, and we went straight to the Chinese Laundry x 12th Tribe event in Palm Springs. The brand party was at a beautiful residence in Palm Springs with a backyard pool. The night was filled with ear piercings, taco eating, hair extension getting, and gifting. What a fun night! Chinese Laundry has some amazing shoes, I got these studded white leather slip ons that are TO DIE FOR.
Day 2 (Friday): Friday was a little bit more of a relaxing day, but still packed. I woke up, headed to the John Freida styling suite at some really nice villas in Palm Springs and got my hair done for the day. The look was so edgy/boho- with a braid on one side filled with jewels. After that, I headed to London’s Airbnb for a quick photo sesh before heading to the Vampped x Genies Event in Indio. That event was one of my favorites, it was located really close to Coachella in a desert oasis, complete with a lake, multiple gifting booths, a DJ set, and multiple full bars. We hung out there until we needed food, then headed back to get some grub then head home.
Day 3 (Saturday): Saturday was by far the busiest day- I had a lot of parties to attend and didn’t get a chance to attend them all (more than two parties a day is ridiculous… the Palm Springs area is actually really spread out- PS is about 45 minutes away from Indio). Joe joined me this day and we went straight to an event with FURLA in Palm Desert. The event was at a beautiful mansion in the desert, complete with a pool, sweeping views of the land, and enough orange and lemon trees to snack on for an entire year. We stayed there for about an hour, took a few pics then it was onto the next. The next Saturday event was with Project NM x Island Tribe. This was a small pop-up where you could get your face makeup done and try on beautiful boho dresses from Island Tribe. I tried on an all sequin silver dress that was perfection. It was extremely hot and so extra, but it was worth it. After that, Joe and I were supposed to make it to the Revolve party, but by that time it was already afternoon. Instead, we opted for a quick snack at the Ace Hotel then back to our hotel.
Day 4 (Sunday): By day 4, I was completely exhausted, but rallied to the next parties we had in store. Joe left this day to head back to LA, but I stuck it out. I headed to London’s and we quickly made our way to the Parker Hotel to check out the Amex Platinum lounge and take some shots at the hotel, which is absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend a visit when in Palm Springs if you have time! We then headed to the Free People x Vital Proteins pop-up at the Ace Hotel. It was super pretty on a veranda overlooking the pool, with all the boho vibes as expected. After mingling there, we headed to Indio for the Revolve Festival. This was one of the main parties that celebs and influencers attended, so it was pretty cool which was expected lol. Carousels, Acai bowls, In-N-Out, pools, and sets from ASAP Rocky and other rappers were the highlights! After this, we headed back to London’s to pack up and leave Palm Springs before the traffic hit on Monday!
Phew, it was such a busy and beautiful time at Coachella 2018, and I’m beyond thankful for all the brands that allowed me to visit this year! Can’t wait until next time around 🙂
