All Wrapped Up

Whew! Last week was SUCH a busy week. I traveled on a short trip to Palm Springs for business and was catching up on emails from Thanksgiving week for at least three days. Needless to say, I think I have a better handle on things and some big news to share! I was accepted to Reward Style, which means my Instagram and blog posts are now shoppable! Let the fun begin…

But back to today’s post… Yesterday I went to Off the Grid at the Embarcadero Center to catch a quick bite with my foodie friends before a shoot. Cyneats puts together some really cool events for us, so be sure to check her blog out too!

For this outing, I wore a fantastic wrap I got from Sundance Catalog, paired with some jeans, a turtleneck to keep warm, and my new Aibi Watch, which I absolutely love for work and play. I also love wraps for the winter, especially in SF where the weather can get really chilly at night.

Labor Day in the Bay

Hi all! It’s been a minute since I’ve posted, but since it’s Labor Day weekend and I usually post on Sunday’s, today will have to do. It was SO nice in the city this weekend- at least 85 degrees each day. Perfect for strolling around and being outside. On Sunday, after making a homemade brunch with my friend Mel, we headed to the Embarcadero and the Ferry Building to take in the sites and grab some coffee at my favorite shop: Blue Bottle. Something about those almond milk lattes…

For this small girl’s outing, I wore a hunter green button up dress from J.Crew. I have been dying to post about it because it’s the perfect transition from summer to fall. AND it’s my favorite color this season 🙂

On another note, I have been able to wear heels again thanks to Sole Serum, a cream you apply before you slip on heels to alleviate foot pain throughout the day. It really helps, especially for those girls like me who have really bad feet for wearing heels- I used to play soccer and haven’t been able to wear heels to work or out at all. Try it out!

Saturday at the Farmer’s Market

There seems to be an ongoing theme here on my blog including shopping at farmer’s markets and Saturday’s… At least you all know how I like to spend weekends! This weekend was absolutely gorgeous in SF. I don’t know if I am speaking too soon, but it seems like June/July gloom is finally over. The weather was perfect for the farmer’s market held at the Embarcadero (every Saturday) and I have been dying to wear my overalls since bought them last week at Zara, so I went for it. I went for some of the goodies pictured below as well…

After posting this on my , a lot of people said that they could never pull off overalls, and I have to tell you I was a little hesitant myself. But you just have to go for it! That is one of my mottos in style and in life: if are attracted to something, go for it!
