Christmas Shopping

December 15, 2014

Hi lovely people! This post was from a few weekends back when it wasn’t a monsoon in San Francisco. California needs the rain, but boy this city cannot soak it up. Holiday shopping has been more of an online deal for me this year, has anyone been courageous enough to brave the crowds at the mall? I have found most everything I need online. This outfit was shot on Black Friday, and I think that day scarred me for life- I haven’t been back to Westfield Mall or Union square since, haha! In any case, I paired this flow-y drop waist dress with some dark tights and my red bow purse for a pop of holiday color. Bright red is my absolute favorite color this season, as it always is around this time of year. I hope you all enjoy! I’ve got a special holiday post for you all soon 🙂

What I’m wearing:
Wool Sweater: GAP
Pattern dress: Cherish
Suede studded booties: Old Navy (similar here)
Red bow bag: Charming Charlie

Happy Holidays,
BB

Healdsburg Heaven

December 8, 2014

Good morning! I hope your Monday is off to a great start. For today’s post, I decided to give you another glimpse into my weekend in Sonoma county the weekend before last. It was a bit chilly here and there farther up north, so I was stoked to wear my new blanket scarf from Zara. I finally found out what the obsession over these scarves are- they literally feel like you are walking around with a blanket like when you were three years old. It’s fantastic, and elegant-looking I might add. I wouldn’t recommend wearing them to work, however, because you run the risk of falling asleep at your desk. You were warned…

Travel tip: if you are in Sonoma county, be sure to check out the town of Healdsburg. It is filled with adorable boutiques, antique shops, old bookstores, and coffee shops galore. Not to mention the wine. What more could you ask for?

What I’m Wearing:
Plaid blanket scarf: Zara
Studded white bag: H&M (thrifted)
Black Dress: Glassons (New Zealand brand)

May your Monday be short and your coffee strong,
BB

Lake Sonoma

December 4, 2014

Hey lovelies! On this rainy Thursday morning (thank goodness for the recent rain in SF!) I wanted to share with you one of three posts I am going to do from this past weekend. I spent a lovely weekend in Sonoma County wine tasting and exploring cute towns up north. I have to say fall in wine country is exactly what you would expect- less people, a little cooler, and utterly gorgeous. If you are in Sonoma, be sure to check out the wineries in the Dry Creek and Alexander Valley. they are some of the best I’ve seen (but I can’t really say much considering I just moved here). Anyway, for this chilly day of exploring and tasting, I paired my emerald green bodycon dress with some cozy knits. Believe it or not, this whole outfit is almost all from H&M! Cheers to that.

What I’m Wearing:
Emerald green bodycon: H&M
Cream wrap sweater: H&M
Pompom hat: H&M
Grey suede booties: Madewell

Look forward to some more posts later this week.

Much love,
BB
